We develop curious, resilient and enthusiastic learners to prepare our pupils for the next phase of education and beyond.
Our vision, values and learning behaviours are at the centre of everything we do. We believe these equip our pupils to develop towards reaching their full potential; academically, emotionally and socially.

What is it like to attend this school?
Pupils’ flourish and achieve well at this small, friendly school. Their joy of learning is reflected in their high rates of attendance.
Pupils share warm, caring and supportive relationships with staff. Pupils are happy and feel safe.

Curriculum overview
Children are at the heart of our curriculum and we believe that every child should have the opportunity to develop and build their independence, self-esteem and self-confidence. We are committed to our pupils becoming lifelong learners who are curious, enthusiastic, resilient and well prepared for secondary school and for their future career in our society.
Our whole school values and learning behaviours weave into everything we do at Moss Hey. Our ambitious and creative curriculum ensures that children have a quality education in all subjects which incorporates diversity and ensures learning reflects our modern world.
Our curriculum has a strong emphasis on the teaching of positive mental health so that children can embed and develop our values and learning behaviours to enable them to be the best versions of themselves.
